Built at the time of the Porfiriato (late 19th century and early 20th century), precisely in the years from 1884 to 1911. Considered a World Heritage Site due to its architecture and because it is located in the Historic Center of the city of Mérida, Yucatán, a few meters from the Chen Bech market, Parque de la Mejorada, Church of Our Lady of Carmen, Museum of Popular Art of Yucatán, Museum of Yucatán Song, Escuela Superior de Artes de Yucatán and soon El Gran Parque La Plancha (a project already authorized by the State and Federal Governments) that will attract a considerable flow of local, national and international tourism.
Walking through it transports you back in time, standing on the pasta floors painted by hand piece, its French tiles, wooden beams (all original), and it also has a mural of stone figures with incalculable cultural value, which is why it is protected by the INAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History).

Recorrerla te transporta en el tiempo, estar parado sobre los pisos de pasta pintados a mano pieza por pieza, sus tejas francesas, vigas de madera (todo esto original), además, tiene un mural de figuras de piedra con un valor cultural incalculable, razón por la cuál esta protegida por el INAH (Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia).
